To celebrate the incredible success of the July 2025 PICC–Panamá students, and share their images and conservation messages with the community, we held a Gallery Show in Playa Venao. Parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, visitors, and community members stopped by and were awed by the creative insights into the biodiversity discovered with the cameras.

Alongside the selected photo enlargements printed for each student, a large screen display projected all of their stunning images. The children especially enjoyed seeing their own and their friend’s images and re-living the discoveries that they made in Canopy Venao and the university students’ exploration of Rufugio de Vida Silvestre, Pablo Arturo Barrios.
A special thanks to Tuira Torrijos for hosting us and generously keeping the gallery display up for some time in order to make it available to more of the community. Our hosts and conservation partners, Stuart and Tammy of Mangofish Studios, pulled it all together and thoughtfully provided refreshments, music and advertising, to create a fun celebration.
