Rafiki, Uganda 2022 – Photography Inspiring Children in Conservation

A group of young people involved with conservation and community programs with Rafiki Memorial Wildlife Conservation Initiative in Buhoma-Bwindi, Uganda spent a few days in August 2022 learning to use DSLR cameras. Their focus at this introductory workshop was on mastering the technical aspects of the camera, as well as understanding light, composition and perspective. They were provided with a Canon DSLR camera with a zoom lens and have continued to learn photography, taking the opportunity to photograph the mountain gorillas when they have frequently visited the Sahaya-Rafiki Guesthouse.
